Grant of Friendship

Grant of Friendship

Rocky Mountain Region, United States-April/May 2018

Application Deadline: December 15, 2017
The Rocky Mountain Region is offering a Grant of Friendship to a Soroptimist who speaks English to visit our region for two weeks including the dates of April 27-30, 2018, at which time this will coincide with the Rocky Mountain Region Spring Conference to be held in Casper, Wyoming.
The recipient will be offered home stays. The grant includes travel, and accommodations within the Region during their stay. The recipient will also be entertained by members of clubs in our Region who will show her their particular places of interest. We also maintain a no smoking policy in our hosts’ homes.
The recipient will be required to pay for her travel, and visa to and from Salt Lake City, Utah. Visa research should be undertaken in your own country prior to your application and be approved by February 1, 2018. The recipients will be required to share her Soroptimist experiences with the clubs in our Region, formally and informally for the period of her stay. We request relevant health and special diet information from the Recipient, who would need to be able to move independently as there would be significant travel during their stay. Preference will be given to a Soroptimist who has not already received a Grant of Friendship.
Soroptimists are invited to send their “reason for application” to be received by December 15, 2017.
