Dream Programs – Live Your Dream Awards®Dream It, Be It® Live Your Dream.Org®

Throughout history and still to this day, women and girls all over the world face obstacles solely because of gender. Women and girls disproportionately suffer from poverty and discrimination. It is for this reason Soroptimist, an organization of and by women, chooses to focus on the special challenges facing women and girls.

Region Projects

Rocky Mountain Region participates in the Soroptimist International of the Americas and the Soroptimist International projects. Rocky Mountain Region annually selects 4 recipients from the club winners for the region level of the Soroptimist Live Your Dream Award.

The Governor’s Project in the Rocky Mountain Region started in 2000 when the Youth Forums ended. The Children of Peace International (COPI) presented its work to the 1999 Fall District III & IV Meeting hosted by SI Fort Collins in Estes Park, Colorado. From that moving presentation, the idea of projects for COPI was born. COPI is a humanitarian organization which serves the people of Vietnam by developing the capability of the people to help themselves.
